Virtual forest enterprises will be created to demonstrate the modelling of above and below ground carbon contents and the silvicultural scenarios, which will be evaluated according to the Pan-European Forest Process on Criteria and Indicators for Sustainable Forest Management. All scenarios will be evaluated in economical terms. The results should support political decisions in the field of environment, forestry and timber industry. The entire project will be accompanied by a scientific committee consisting of stakeholders, NGOs and members of economy. The committee will especially advice the project members during the scenario selection and the result evaluation procedures.
